This week I’m preparing for the National Stationery Show. I love taking this time out of my normal schedule to indulge in all the crafting/DIY adventures that it takes to build a trade show booth design. It’s definitely a hair-up, old-tshirt-on kind of week. I love it! Especially because I’ve recently discovered the SOCK BUN.
I think I may be the late to the sock bun party, because when I typed “sock bun” into pinterest about fifteen thousand examples of how to make one came up. But…
In case you don’t know about this marvelous hair management technique:
Step one: cut the toe off a sock and roll it into a “doughnut” shape
Step two: Put the doughnut on your pony tail, about half way down and spread the hair around it. Tuck the ends of your hair under the sock doughnut and roll it down into the most perfect bun you have ever seen.
Step three: enjoy the jealous stares

The best tutorial I have ever seen!!
one day I will become the owner of one of your beautiful pieces. In the meantime, I am off to go cut my inaugural sock.
