It is currently ten degrees here in NYC but with the windchill it “feels like two degrees”
I never understand that differentiation. Isn’t the temperature always what it “feels like”? Why else would we want to know what the temperature is but to better comprehend what it will feel like outside?
So there you go. 2 degrees outside today and here’s a sketch in my new sketchbook of my giant new earmuffs and an inspirational quote to help you embrace and reach your full earmuff potential.
Dream big, muff big, stay warm.

Brrrrr!! Keep warm! I love this, I miss mittens and earmuffs.
Keep warm. It was 19 degrees here last night. It’s 25 now.
I hate that with the weather too, so frustrating :/
At least your sketch looks nice and warm.
I love having a new sketchbook, makes me feel like I should make everything really good in it- at least for the first few pages anyway
Hi Inslee, found your page last week and was AMAZED by your work/illustrations! wow, you are so talented and gifted!
love from california,
Lily
Awww I should have come with you after lunch! I need some!
Love this image! It is too stinking cold…no matter how you slice it. I was in NYC in Dec. I’m so glad it wasn’t as cold then as it is now. Stay warm.
P.S. I linked back to you in my post tonight. Just love your work.
thanks for sharing!
Just in time for snow in Virginia today and temps in the teens. Love snow, love ear muffs, love the painting
Definitely feeling the cold here right below you in Jersey. Gaaaaah. >_<
2 degrees? That’s nothing. I wish it was 2 degrees. Here it feels like it’s -10 degrees all the time.
